Congrats to our U15H Sault Nissan team! The team went undefeated to bring home the Essex Family Day Tournament Championship! Following a 6-5 win over Kent Cobras Red in the semi-finals, Sault Nissan clinched the championship with a  6-1 victory over Southpoint Blue! Way to go Sault Nissan!!

Let's fill the stands on March 1st for the Guardians Day Game with the Soo Greyhounds and our special needs athletes. This game is about far more than hockey. It is about belonging. It is about creating an experience where our special athletes feel celebrated, valued, and fully embraced by the hockey community. It is an opportunity for our players, families, and teams to come together in a way that reflects what this sport is truly supposed to represent, unity, support, and pride in one another.

Let’s take a moment to recognize and express our sincere gratitude to the referees within our association. Their dedication to the game is truly commendable. Referees spend countless hours on the ice in a role that is often underappreciated and heavily scrutinized. They are required to make split-second decisions in fast-paced, high-pressure situations — a responsibility that demands focus, integrity, and resilience.

Congratulations U15A Northern Sports Excellence!  Travelling to Ottawa to participate in the 400 Cup Dukes Showdown Feb 6-8th, the NSE crew went undefeated to grab the tournament championship and the "Gold Rings".  The Championship game was a nail biter going to a shoot-out with Northern Sports Excellence coming out victorious! Way to go NSE!
